Looking back at more than 20 years of scuba diving in tropical seas as well as the Med, it is difficult to choose the best places and most amazing experiences. There are beautiful pictures in my mind from diving Sodwana Bay and Ponta d'Ouro, the Adriatic Sea and Malta, Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles. Indeed, I will rely on my photos to remember highlights:
From the teaming fish life in the clear waters of the Northern Red Sea, the wreck of SS Thistlegorm off the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, via Maldives and Chagos to beautiful dive sites off Pulau Weh, Koh Lipe, Tioman and Sulawesi, as well as to an u/w wedding in Moalboal and relaxed dives off Siquijor and Apo island in the Philippines, to my very first OW dive at "Sodies" in South Africa.

Diving for the last time this winter season in the clear waters of the Andaman Sea off Iboih Beach on Pulau Weh and being amazed once more by the richness and variety of reef fish in these beautiful waters. Thanks to all three Dodent Brothers, whose father was the scuba diving pioneer from Sabang. Many thanks Yudi, Isi and Isfan, see you again soon!

Scubadiving repeatedly Prince John Dive Resort’s spectacular dive sites, in Central Sulawesi, enjoying the wonderful camaraderie of top-notch PADI IDC Staff Instructor Alex as well as his highly experienced dive guides IGede, Nasrun, Maming, Gunawan and Dedi (all reliable professionals with far more than 1,000 dives under their belts) and taking refuge at their favourite dive spots: South Atoll, Enu Wall (a massive seamount with an extensive pristine and beautiful soft coral garden), Batu Suya (a phenomenal drop-off with many slug species), and Anchor Reef with the resident blacktip reef sharks underneath huge table corals.
